Cancer, Bills well that begins at the start. The tests, the surgery and the medical roller coaster begins. The Quotes, well what does it cover. Upfront bills, more bills later and fear!!

VANITY - vein woman flat chested wants show off a fake chest as has no confidence she should pay 100% as is personal choice
CANCER PATIENT- They call a double mastectomy elective!! Just to clarify this I want to have my chest removed by surgery and have no nipples and end up with massive surgery!! I have to pay for hospital, implants, tests and surgery with no medicare refund as I want this surgery......Please inform me who wants this??? Why I have to pay for everything and for go every refund...
Vein woman are show offs and should pay - cancer patients are victims of a pathetic medical system and cancer should not mean. The dollars begin but thats what happens, let the charges begin!

I forgo my refunds as I elected to have what I had. Hidden charges, more bills than expected where does the nightmare end!
My friends planned 2 fund raisers 1 in Sydney and 1 on the Central Coast!
Zu and Robert kindly offered to run Fund Raiser one in Sydney, a well planned night. Really impressive at Potts Point. Brace yourself for this one, Cheryl and I thought we had enough money for the surgery of in excess of $20,000 upfront. But in fact people used cards that declined and the amount of money was really hard to raise. We committed to a surgery that we thought was covered, but was a struggle to get that money as the credit cards declined and up until 2 days before the surgery. I had the extra burden of chasing the money and trying to get the money into the plastic surgeons account. They don't do that surgery without the money prepaid. So after Zu and Robert helped me with a kind act. I had the reality of seeing the money raised.....really people are amazing so happy to help but also its a tradgedy that not all are honest.
Fund Raiser 2 Marie Patterson my saviour, we discussed the drama of fund raising and the venue Sirens offered us a EFTPOS machine, all transactions would go through and be processed on the night. So that was great we elimanted any fraud by doing this system. All cards processed on the night.
Bascially I was impressed that my great friends raised $23,000 towards my surgery in those 2 nights. I am grateful to Zu and Robert for their amazing efforts, also to Simone who started my fund raising efforts and to Marie who assisted her to a magnificent night.
Who to thank the list grows...So many to thank..The committee, the volunteers, the assistants on the night!!
The list is huge! This is what I need to say. Thank you so much, you all deserve a thank you. I appreciate everything. Every single one of you deserve a medal.....I thank you so much!! My mind was in a sedate state, I look back now how many bills, the amount of tests the expense. Everyone of you assisted me in surviving this voyage. I need say thank you!!!
