Getting behind our charities

There is an old saying about giving back. Well at the office when we aren't busy we have a network of us that have all been effected by cancer. Men that I work with have lost partners very young which is sad. I think because we have all been touched by some form of Cancer. Being having it, supporting a loved one with it or friends with it. I get calls all the time to assist people with Cancer. I talk to families and friends. Giving them as much information on things that I can. The best thing is to speak about your battles with people that can understand a little and share experiences and information on anything that may help them. The guys here and I are supporting all the charities that help at this time. My newest passion is Camp Quality stay tuned I will share what a fabulous charity that is.

"Hard nipples" - areola or nipple skin

Someone once wrote"... when i get really cold, or get goosebumbs all over my body, the whole things really scrunch up, like, my entire areola scrunches itself up into a wrinkled little mound. it looks really weird and ugly, and i haven't ever seen other people's breasts do it. what is wrong with my areola/nipples??" The answer: Well nothing is wrong. This is what my areola does too. It's a normal reaction to the coldness or to irritation / stimulation. The little muscles in the areola do a similar goosebump thing as your other skin can do. People often call this phenomenon "hard nipples". Also note that skin on areola has less feeling or sensation to it than other areas of your body. If the areola was very sensitive, then breastfeeding would probably be quite uncomfortable because the baby pulls and tugs it!
