Olive Oil ?
Olive oil has received well-deserved attention over the last 10-15 years. This is the main ingredient that plays an important role in the Mediterranean diet. For years, studies have shown people who consume this type of diet live longer and enjoy a better quality of life. Olive oil is a lot more than just a health food. In fact, it can be used for soothing skin, managing hair, and as a natural sunscreen.
Olive oil has nutrients that support the heart and brain, and the Omega-3s in olive oil make blood flow easier. The antioxidants found in the oil protect against aging by reducing damage from free radicals and oxidative stress. Populations who consume the highest amounts of olive oil enjoy low rates of coronary heart disease.
Erase Stretch Marks
If there’s a downside to pregnancy, it’s the stretch marks. In one study, olive oil reduced scarring from severe stretch marks following pregnancy. The topical as well as the internal use of olive oil may provide this benefit.
Speeds Wound Healing
Although olive oil aids skin recovery when applied to wounds like burns, eating olive oil or foods featuring olive oil also improves wound healing time. Regular consumption of olive oil lowers inflammation and heals the body from the inside out.
Heals Burns Faster
Olive oil is loaded with vitamins and essential fatty acids involved in speeding the healing of burns. The Amish are often credited for creating a natural method for reducing burns with olive oil that’s as effective as conventional treatments, and they’re not alone. The Hatay of middle Turkey use a mixture featuring olive oil to ease the severity of burns. The olive oil supplies essential nutrients to the injured skin and discourages harmful organisms from infecting the wound.
Someone once wrote"...when i get really cold, or get goosebumbs all over my body, the whole things really scrunch up, like, my entire areola scrunches itself up into a wrinkled little mound. it looks really weird and ugly, and i haven't ever seen other people's breasts do it. what is wrong with my areola/nipples??"The answer:
Well nothing is wrong. This is what my areola does too. It's a normal reaction to the coldness or to irritation / stimulation. The little muscles in the areola do a similar goosebump thing as your other skin can do. People often call this phenomenon "hard nipples".
Also note that skin on areola has less feeling or sensation to it than other areas of your body. If the areola was very sensitive, then breastfeeding would probably be quite uncomfortable because the baby pulls and tugs it! The nipples are sensitive but the sensitivity changes with hormonal changes, such as occur at mestrual cycle or pregnancy. Also this varies with ind…
Jerry Seinfeld says Julia Louis-Dreyfus is in great spirits following the actress' final round of chemotherapy treatment.
While attending an event in for Bob Roth's new book, Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation, at Joe's Pub at The Public in New York City on Tuesday night, the Seinfeld alum told ET that his former co-star is on the mend.
"I talk to her all the time," the 63-year-old comedian revealed. "She's doing great."
Louis-Dreyfus revealed her breast cancer diagnosis last fall, and she finished up her last round of chemotherapy this past month. Her sons, Henry and Charlie, even made her a hilarious video of themselves lip-syncing and dancing to Michael Jackson's "Beat It" to celebrate the big day.
The 57-year-old actress' latest Instagram post, shared on Jan. 29, paid homage to Seinfeld. Louis-Dreyfus took a photo of the back of a picture frame she found at her late father's house, the back of wh…

period begins. Usually these signs are accompanied by the appearance of pubic hair and hair under the arms.
Once ovulation and menstruation begin, the maturing of the breasts begins with the formation of secretory glands at the end of the milk ducts. The breasts and duct system continue to grow and mature with the development of many glands and lobules. The rate at which breasts grow varies significantly and is different for each young woman. Breast development occurs in five stages: Stage One: In preadolescence, the breasts are flat and only the tip of the nipple is raised.Stage Two: Buds appear, breast and nipple are raised, fat tissue begins to form and the areola (dark area of skin that surrounds the nipple) enlarge…
