Jerry Seinfeld says Julia Louis-Dreyfus is in great spirits following the actress' final round of chemotherapy treatment.
While attending an event in for Bob Roth's new book, Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation, at Joe's Pub at The Public in New York City on Tuesday night, the Seinfeld alum told ET that his former co-star is on the mend.
"I talk to her all the time," the 63-year-old comedian revealed. "She's doing great."
Louis-Dreyfus revealed her breast cancer diagnosis last fall, and she finished up her last round of chemotherapy this past month. Her sons, Henry and Charlie, even made her a hilarious video of themselves lip-syncing and dancing to Michael Jackson's "Beat It" to celebrate the big day.
The 57-year-old actress' latest Instagram post, shared on Jan. 29, paid homage to Seinfeld. Louis-Dreyfus took a photo of the back of a picture frame she found at her late father's house, the back of which read, "'Elaine Rules!!!' We <3 Julia."
"Today I’ve been going through photos from my dear dad RIP, organizing them, taking them out of frames etc. Look what I found in the back of a frame- a message from the framers in Mt Kisco, NY from 1993! Fun, right?" she captioned the pic.
Louis-Dreyfus has been surrounded by supportive family and friends throughout her cancer battle. Her Veep co-star, Anna Chlumsky, recently revealed to ET that the HBO show's team's “priority right now is to just be as supportive as possible as Julia starts getting better. We try to keep in touch with her, as there’s never enough you can do. It’s her journey, and our part in it is to be her cheerleaders.”
Though she couldn't attend this year's Screen Actor's Guild Awards due to her illness, Louis-Dreyfus broke a record at the show with her eighth and ninth wins, and she even received a shoutout on stage from Veep co-star Matt Walsh while he accepted the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
