Salvation Army - A lending hand

Life in Caos what do you do....................................
Bills - medical - life -  groceries - pharmacy - meat - fruit

In the last 3 and a half years, I have been out of work 18 months due to surgeries, medical tests , doctors appointments. What a nightmare.

Life presents an interesting twist.

I had an interesting pile of bills and you feel pretty useless. My friend Kaye Brown said call the Salvos they help people, I said to her, I am sure more people in need more than me. You know what, that is not true. The Salvation Army are fantastic, Shirley Moore at Erina is the kindest most wonderful woman I have met. She assisted me with food vouchers, she was a shoulder to lean on and a fantastic support person. I met Shirley and Faye while I was having Chemo, no work and things tough. I really can't stress enough to people. If you need help, get it. I am a proud person I find it hard to ask people to help me. But sometimes you have to eat humble pie....
Salvation Army is run by volunteers, they are real people there to help. They are amazing!
