Pictured: a cancer patient smiling
I have had to have Chemo twice in 19 years, my mum had to have chemo as well. So whilst I am no expert. I certainly have seen and lived through a lot.

It appears that people that have never had chemo or could never possibly understand what it is like! Have no idea;
those of us that have walked down that road know it's many days of ups and downs very similar to a roller coaster ride, or a classic scene from an Indiana Jones movie.
This last Chemo going into the cancer ward was a bit of an eye opener. It's done in a day ward so you can get out in half a day. They said don't be happy or look like you are having fun here, because I like to laugh and have fun. People are dying in there, well I say they may want a laugh, a drink or something to eat. My friend Karen came to chemo with me at xmas I had promised a couple of the old ladies in my ward we would have xmas celebration. Karen and I went shopping got tarts lollies and cakes. Would you believe that the nurses put them in their room they were having a party. Karen saw them eating them, I wanted to celebrate with my cancer friends (patients) xmas...seem's you are not allowed be happy or celebrate in the cancer ward as you will die.
Please people wake up, be cautious how you treat us....
I was still smiling, still drinking still going out and most of us do. Life must go on
