There are so many old wives tales and so many old stories. Passed down from generations and also through the mouths of our own selves. For example:
#Omg your having a hysterectomy - oh dear your finished your hair goes grey and your vagina will dry up, that's the end for you! - ahhh this one scared me half to death lol 😂
Yep and guess what none of that happened.
#Why are you having a double mastectomy you will die anyway and you have mutalated your body for nothing. Wrong again luckily I am still here. Phewwwww!
#if you have heartburn your baby will be bald. Really I had heart burn all through pregnancies. All my boys had black thick hair at birth. So much hair it was amazing. So that's not true.
#Breastfeeding stops you getting breast cancer! I wish this one was true as I breast fed my boys till 18 months each. Ok that's not true either.
So moral of the story, listen take it all in something's will be very helpful and some things will worry you.
But in the end we are all different, we all cope different, we heal differently. So sharing is a great way to reasearch. Hopefully I am helping some of you on your journey. We all get scared and horror stories are everywhere!
But I the end, go with your heart if it feels right, its right for you.
