Well we have all heard of baby brain! When your pregnant and you make a banana cake like I did, but yep forgot to put the bananas in... I know I know! Then to find the coffee in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard! Yep this is real!
Cancer brain - I wish it was similar to baby brain. Same same but different!
Me the Capricorn the planner, I know what's happening when, where etc etc. Well that is the old me. Don't get me wrong I still am like that again.
Cancer diagnoses second time turns me into months of mail unopened in a huge pile but had an elastic band around it.... yep I know what your thinking. Bills not paid, no idea car rego out for months till got pulled up by the cops!
You know that's not like me. I hate to be late, I am ontime with everything, I even forgot to turn up for doctors and specialists. Was I going mad?? Nope it's the Cancer brain. Afraid to think or plan a dam thing, depression no planning forward. What's happening!!!!
I had to turn my brain off so to speak. Well just imagine your computer with all the wires pulled out so it doesn't work, yep that was my brain. As I don't like to hang out in sad places, I had to beat this awful place. Great thinking by me! Or not then nothing is done nothing at all. Gee looking back now I can't believe how far I have come.
