Look good feel better

I wanted to share something special to do and its run by Volunteers. Its Called "Look Good Feel Better" It is normally held at Hospitals around in your local area. It is a 2 hour session where you can sit with other woman that have cancer like you. This was actually a little hard for me, as I was a Volunteer at North Gosford Hospital when my kids were very young. So being on the other side when I first walked in was a little scary. But I felt at ease when I got in there, you can take a carer or friend. I took my friend Anne Taylor. She enjoyed the morning.
All the big make up brands donate make up for you. You get to take the products home they are all new. You get a lesson on how to apply them. The wig people come and you can try the wigs on, fantastic thing is you are with woman that understand exactly where you are at. Hats or scarves, try them all on. Coffee and cake and lovely company. You will find this morning a treat you can even take your husband or man. They don't mind. Do this it really is valuable all the tips and friends you make, will make you look good and feel better.

THE MOST MOMENTOUS CHANGE IN Kate Jackson's life began early one morning in January 1987, during her fourth season on the hit TV series Scarecrow and Mrs. King. "Hard nipples" - areola or nipple skin

Someone once wrote"... when i get really cold, or get goosebumbs all over my body, the whole things really scrunch up, like, my entire areola scrunches itself up into a wrinkled little mound. it looks really weird and ugly, and i haven't ever seen other people's breasts do it. what is wrong with my areola/nipples??" The answer: Well nothing is wrong. This is what my areola does too. It's a normal reaction to the coldness or to irritation / stimulation. The little muscles in the areola do a similar goosebump thing as your other skin can do. People often call this phenomenon "hard nipples". Also note that skin on areola has less feeling or sensation to it than other areas of your body. If the areola was very sensitive, then breastfeeding would probably be quite uncomfortable because the baby pulls and tugs it! In Stage 1 shows the flat breasts of childhood. By Stage 2, breast buds are formed as milk ducts and fat tissue develop. In Stage 3, the breast become round and full, and the areola darkens.
